UNFPA’s Eighth Country Programme 2012 - 2016 is aligned with core strategies under the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF, 2012-2016), and supports UNDAF Pillar 7: Gender Equality and Women’s Advancement as the lead agency, and Pillar 3: Social Services for Human Development—addressing national priorities directed at a systems approach to enhancing the Health Sector, expanding coverage and accessibility for vulnerable and marginalized groups.
